Three Weeks Old

2 Week Check-Up

I've known Leah's favorite thing to do was eat, but it was confirmed today at her 2 week check-up. She's growing so fast!! I couldn't believe it and she might be getting her daddy's height.

Birth Stats:

Wt - 7# 15.5 oz

Ht - 20 inches

Head - 34.5 cm

2 Week Check-Up: 

             Wt - 9# 9oz  (Wt for length - 35th percentile,

                                Wt for age - 80th percentile)

Ht - 21.5 inches (80th percentile)

Head - 36 cm (50th percentile)

The doctor said everything looked great so it was a good first check-up!

First Road Trip

Last weekend we went on our first family road trip with Leah. We took a quick trip to St. Cloud for some shopping, eating out and to stay overnight in a hotel.

Mom and dad forgot the pack-n-play and the stroller (we are still learning I guess :-) but we still had a fun family day together!

Two Weeks Old

Leah and I made it through our first week at home alone!

Here's what our days have consisted of:

Mornings are Leah's awake time. She is usually up and looking around from about 6:30 to 11am.

Then time for a nap in the swing. Leah loves her swing.



Then Mom and Leah like to hang out. Looks like we were watching The Voice.

The days are flying by fast. I haven't got much done around the house yet... but that's my goal for next week. :-) We are getting into more of a routine now, so that's good and we are still loving spending every minute together! 

Thank You Grandma and Grandpa D

Well after a wonderful 10 day visit, Grandma and Grandpa D had to go back home :-( Thank you so much for all you did for us during this last week. It was great to have a clean house, food cooked for us, laundry done, plus more! And Leah loved her time snuggling with you both. This week would have been a lot more difficult without you here.

Leah is giong to miss you tons and tons!! Hope to see you very soon!
