No More Bottles!

Last weekend we washed up all the bottles and packed them away.

So Leah is almost one week down with only a sippy cup and she is doing great!! It was much easier than I expected and luckily it didn't mess with our streak of sleeping through the night. We are on 10 days of full nights sleep and it's amazing.

Such a big girl now!

1 Year Stats/Doctor's Appointment

Still a healthy little girl... got her shots and the appointment went well. Doctor said she's still big but it's slowing down... and still proportional. Good news :-)

Here are Leah's 1 year stats:

Wt for age - 22 lbs 2oz (80th percentile)

Ht - 2 feet 6 inches (84th percentile)

Head - 46.5cm (86th percentile)

1 Year Pictures

All I can say about pictures this time were that they were challenging!! Who know it would be so hard to get a little girl to sit or stand in one place for longer than 1 second?? It is lucky no one else was there to see me lock her in the guest bedroom until she would walk in front of the background :-)

Everyone use this post as a reminder next time I think I can take an active, busy 1 year old's photos. :-)

But, they turned out okay and they are done... so all in all, it's a success.

Leah's Winter "One"derland Party

Leah had the BEST first birthday party. It was spent enjoying time with family and friends, devouring cake, admiring awesome decorations, swimming and opening tons of gifts. All of her aunts, uncles and cousins made it to the party which made it extra special. Thank you everyone for a wonderful first birthday party for our sweet little girl.
