Fair

I have never been to the Red River Valley Fair and so we decided to take an afternoon and check it out. The kids got to go on some rides and Leah's favorite part was the petting zoo (until a sheep 'Baa'd right next to her and scared her). We tried to go to the concert that evening but Leah wasn't really so into it after about 30 minutes, so we had to take off.

Cousin's Day

This cousin's day we had a fun trip to Burger King, shopping for toys, had a treasure hunt, got a new pet frog named Friday (your welcome Nikki :-) ) and made a trip to the splash pad. What a fun day :-)

DC & NY Vacation

Over the 4th we took a little vacation to Washington D.C. and New York City. We had a great time although it was very warm and we did a lot of walking (which tired this girl out). We got to see everything we wanted and got to view a couple nice 4th of July fireworks.

Our first meal in Chinatown

A National's baseball game

 Followed by a fireworks show

 Checking out the monuments

4th of July Parade

More monuments

These two navigating us around (I just followed)

The HUGE crowd at the 4th of July fireworks show in D.C.

Following the show the huge crowd just walked down the middle of the D.C. roads. It was pretty crazy, felt like we were part of a mob

On the train on the way to New York

 Times Square

Brooklyn Bridge

 The bull

Freedom Tower

9-11 Memorial

The city at night. Our hotel was right on Times Square which put us right in the middle of all the action.

 Top of the Rock

Central Park

The subways in NYC - yes they were not very well kept up. I'm sure many rats live in there.

 High Line

We took this amazing night boat ride out to the Statue of Liberty. Probably my favorite part of the trip. So relaxing and beautiful to see the city all lite up.

Concluding with a TMZ bus tour (unfortunately, no celebrities were seen)
